![]() ![]() SVN was a welcome improvement and dominated the open source versioning system usage prior to the advent of git. SVN is a popular derivative of the legacy Concurrent Versions System (CVS), both of which I have used in previous projects. I will only go over the last two here as we will cover git in greater detail below. There are others, but at this point they are mostly relics, not well known, or for niche markets. Perforce (sometimes reffered to as P4) - Commercial centralized source control. ![]()
